What to Expect
Welcome to Light City!
Visiting a new church can be overwhelming, but we hope you’ll find us gracious and be as comfortable as possible. We’d love to have you join us for worship on the Lord’s Day and are eager to answer any questions you may have.
What is a service at Light City like?
Every week we:
-Sing together.
-Spend time in prayer.
-Read God’s Word.
-Confess sin and are assured of our forgiveness in Jesus.
-Listen to God’s Word preached.
-Participate in the sacraments (Lord’s Supper is weekly).
-Fellowship with one another.​

Our services typically run about 90 minutes. We hope you'll join us soon and until then please check out our past sermons on Apple Podcast or Spotify.
Is there a class for kids?
We invite children of all ages to participate in our Sunday gatherings with their families. We love having children with us and are happy to have them in the service — they’re never a distraction!​ If you need a little extra space, we also have a family room available where your little ones can be a bit noisy.

During the sermon, we offer a children's ministry class for kids from 6 months old to 2nd grade. All our volunteers are actively involved at Light City and have passed a background check to ensure your child's safety.
How do I get connected?
There are number of opportunities to get connected at Light City. ​

Before our service each Lord's Day we have a family-friendly Sunday School at 9:00am, and you are invited to join our Church Family Meals following service every other week.
